William J. Schwarz, PT, DPT


Dr. William J. Schwarz graduated Cum Laude from Villanova University in 1993 and then went on to graduate with honors from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and completed his doctorate in Physical Therapy with the University of St. Augustine.  Since then he has focused on Sports Injury and Post-Operative rehabilitation. He has several publications and articles written on sports injury.  Bill is currently the Head of Massapequa Sports Medicine for Massapequa Schools and the team Physical Therapist for Molloy College, LIU Post and Farmingdale State College.

Brendan Cacciola, PT, DPT


Dr. Brendan Cacciola graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Health Sciences in 2014. He then continued his studies at Ithaca College where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. During his time at Ithaca College, Brendan completed clinical internships in the sub acute, pediatric and orthopedic settings. This allowed Brendan to gain experience working with patients of all ages and diagnoses. Brendan enjoys working with a diverse patient population and is passionate about making sure every patient is able to return to performing the activities/sports they love.

Christine Dougherty, PT, DPT, CSCS


Dr. Christine Dougherty graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Penn State University in 2009.  She then went on to New York University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012.  As a certified strength and conditioning specialist, Christine has a great interest in sports injury and orthopedic rehabilitation. Christine is currently the team Physical Therapist at SUNY Old Westbury.

Marie Young, PT, DPT


Dr. Marie Young graduated Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She then continued at Sacred Heart for her graduate education, receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012.  She has a focused interest in neurological, balance, gait and geriatric diagnoses as well as orthopedic rehabilitation.

Phil Fandale, ATC   


Phil graduated from C.W. Post College in 1994 with his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.  Phil has focused his career on Sports Injury with a sub-specialty in Sports Enhancement Training. He was an All-American Lacrosse Player in College and currently the Head of the Farmingdale High School Sports Medicine Department.

Richard S. Mallon, PT, DPT, ATC


Dr. Richard Mallon graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Athletic Training and a B.S. in Clinical Health Sciences in 2012. He continued his graduate studies at Ithaca College and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014. During his time at Ithaca, Rich gained experience on the football field as an offensive lineman and on the sidelines of various other collegiate sports teams as an Athletic Trainer. Rich has since worked in the orthopedic outpatient setting, treating individuals with strains and sprains as well as those requiring pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. Rich is just as passionate about assisting people in returning to their everyday activities as he is helping athletes return to the field, court, and track.

Peter Lipinski, PT, DPT


Dr. Peter Lipinski graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.  He then continued at Sacred Heart University to graduate with honors with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012.  After his clinical affiliation with the San Francisco Giants, he has developed an interest in orthopedics and sports injury.

Adam Bates, PT,  DPT


Dr. Adam John Bates, P.T., D.P.T. graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and a Concentration in Nutrition in 2014. He then moved on to continue his graduate education at Stony Brook University, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. During his time at Stony Brook University he completed clinical affiliations in skilled nursing, outpatient orthopedic, and sports settings. Adam enjoys working with patients of all different populations and diagnoses but has a passion sports and post- operative based rehabilitation. He takes pride in returning all of his patients back to their prior level of performance.

J. Alexander Sheridan, PT, DPT


Dr. J. Alexander Sheridan graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies from Utica College of Syracuse University in 2014 with the qualifications to transition into the college's Physical Therapy program. Alex went on to graduate with honors from Utica College with his doctorate in Physical Therapy. Alex was a four-year collegiate athlete playing soccer for the Utica College men's soccer program. Alex continued his passion for the game by volunteering as an assistant coach, while completing his doctorate program. Since graduating, he has worked in the outpatient setting with particular interests in Sports Medicine, Sports Injury and Injury Prevention, and Post-Operative rehabilitation. Alex has a profound vision to transform society by giving patients/clients opportunities to attain their optimal function.

Kristin Tusa, PT, DPT, CSCS


Dr. Kristin Tusa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University with her Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2014. She then went on to Stony Brook University to complete her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. Kristin graduated Stony Brook in 2017 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society for the Allied Health Professions. Lastly, she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as of 2016. Kristin has a strong interest in orthopedics and sports medicine, as she grew up playing sports and spent 3 out of her 4 clinical rotations in the orthopedic and sports realms learning to perfect what she loves.

Krista Fazio, PT, DPT, ATC


Dr. Krista Fazio graduated from Merrimack College where she was a four-year member of the soccer team. Krista graduated in 2013 with a BS in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine.  Krista has since worked on the sidelines with a variety of high school and college athletes as an Athletic Trainer.  Krista then continued her studies at NYIT and graduated with honors with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Krista loves working with athletes, orthopedics and developing post-op rehab programs to return patients to their prior level of activity.
